Books

Paper or Digital?

When it comes to reading at night, I enjoy using my E-reader. I can get comfortable in bed without worrying about the light, or shadows falling onto the page. However, there’s nothing better than relaxing on holiday with a good book at the beach or beside a pool. There’s also something very cosy about sipping a coffee while reading a physical book at a café. It’s just nice to unplug from the digital world for a moment.

This is also how I feel about learning and teaching. It’s very convenient having online lessons. It opens possibilities for people who don’t have access to education, or to cut down on the time it takes to get to lessons. However, I am still a huge fan of physically being in the classroom. And to that, I am also fond of using teaching materials in paper form, like coursebooks and additional teaching materials. It adds life and dimension to a lesson that you cannot get from online and digital learning.

So here I am sharing with you my top picks for both students and teachers.
